Teenager charged with murder after three people discovered dead in Luton flat

An 18-year-old man has been charged with the murders of a woman and two teenagers who were found dead in a flat in Luton.

Bedfordshire Police identified the suspect as Nicholas Prosper, who has been charged in connection with the deaths at a property on Leabank, near Wauluds Bank Drive, around 5:30am on Friday.

While formal identification is still pending, authorities believe the victims are Juliana Prosper, 48, Kyle Prosper, 16, and Giselle Prosper, 13, all residents of Leabank.

In addition to the murder charges, Nicholas Prosper has also been charged with several firearms-related offences.

Detective Superintendent Rob Hall of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the three individuals who tragically lost their lives, and their loved ones.

“While formal identification is still pending, the next of kin of those we believe to have passed have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. We kindly ask for their privacy to be respected during this incredibly difficult time.

“After the discovery of the three bodies, we immediately deployed several officers to the scene, and shortly thereafter, an 18-year-old man was arrested. He has now been charged with three counts of murder, as well as multiple firearms offences.”

Nicholas Prosper is scheduled to appear at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
