Teenager charged with murder after three people discovered dead in Luton flat

An 18-year-old man has been charged with the murders of a woman and two teenagers who were found dead in a flat in Luton. Bedfordshire Police identified the suspect as Nicholas Prosper, who has been charged in connection with the deaths at a property on Leabank, near Wauluds Bank Drive, around 5:30am on Friday. While formal identification is still pending, authorities believe the victims are Juliana Prosper, 48, Kyle Prosper, 16, and Giselle Prosper, 13, all residents of Leabank. National GCSE Grades Drop Slightly

National data indicated a slight decline in the proportion of pupils receiving top grades compared to 2023, though levels remained above those seen before the pandemic. According to figures released by the Joint Council for Qualifications, 21.8% of UK GCSE entries were awarded a grade 7 or higher this year, a decrease of 0.2 percentage points from the previous year.
